If you are looking for a special way to bid good riddance to 2021 and welcome 2022 there can be no better way than the special Chow Down New Year’s Eve Party.
Those of you who have visited Chow Down Winter Village will know what a great place it is to get together and party. If you haven’t then check out my review on this site entitled Christmas in Leeds – Part 2.
The NYE Bash will differ from the normal format in that you don’t book a time slot, you are there for the full evening. When you arrive there will be a Champagne reception, always a good way to kick off an evening in my book, and then escorted to your reserved table. The regular bars will be there to keep you refreshed all evening with their beers, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

Obviously there will be an array of food stalls, you just have to look at the name, and there are some belters. Spuds n Bros will be rustling up Canada’s national dish of poutine, Nasi Lemak are providing Malaysian Fayre, The resident kitchens of Jimmy Macks and Torito will be serving American style vittles in the form of tacos, steaks, smokey bratwurst, hog roast buns and Festive Fries. The best thing is that you don’t need to queue at the airport and provide a lateral flow test to enjoy them, although the Covid rules applicable on the night will be followed.

So that’s the drink and food taken care of, what about the entertainment. Well, worry ye not, electronic superstars Crazy P will be doing their thing in Hütte and roaming performers taking care of the other sections.

The venue opens at 19.30 with the Champagne reception lasting until 21.00 when the gates will close. Finishing time is 01.00. Please note that this event is only for those aged 18 and over. For tickets please visit https://winter.chowdownevents.co.uk/home-1?store_event_id=31114
Don’t forget that there are the ‘normal’ Chow Down winter sessions still running so if you fancy one of those as well then go to https://www.chowdownevents.co.uk/line-ups.
