Are you finding life to be a drag just now? You’re not the only one. The hit musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert is playing at Leeds Grand Theatre until Saturday, 10th July so why not grab a ticket while you can to go and get cheered up.

The show is packed with your favourite disco tunes and promises to be a night to remember, sadly I won’t be there because, when it comes to throwing shapes, I am in a class of my own so I didn’t feel it fair to upstage the professionals as I doubt I could have stayed in my seat all night with belters such as I Will Survive and It’s Raining Men on the playlist. Besides, I have lost quite a bit of weight during lockdown and my sequinned boob tube is hanging a bit loose.

The show tells the story of three friends who take a battered old bus to Alice Springs (lovely girl) to put on a spectacular show. A tale of self-discovery, sassiness and acceptance.

Miles Western takes the role of Bernadette with Nick Hayes as Adam/Felicia and Tick/Mitzi played by Edwin Ray. This new production is by Mark Goucher and Jason Donovan who has staged it Especially for You. My dog has just given me a dirty look and gone into the other room!

Go on, cheer yourself up and drag yourself along to Leeds Grand Theatre – you know you want to.
