It is never too early to plan for the run up to Christmas especially so this year as from 24th November until 5th December the Grand Theatre is staging the hit musical Mamma Mia!
The reason I am letting you know this early is that tickets go on general sale this Wednesday, 29th January and if previous runs are anything to go by they will be selling out quicker than Glastonbury so don’t say that you haven’t been warned.
For anyone who has just arrived on planet earth from a remote galaxy, Mamma Mia! is the musical by Catherine Johnson using the Abba canon with words and music by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus to tell the story of a daughter, mother, and three possible fathers. It is set on a Greek island and so will be the perfect way to escape the onset of winter.

The show has been seen by over 65 million people in 50 productions in 16 languages and was the first Western musical to be staged in Mandarin in the People’s Republic of China. Lots of people know it from the film version but please don’t let that put you off!
So, if you want to get into party mode before everyone else go tohttps://leedsgrandtheatre.com/Online/default.asp to snaffle your tickets or telephone 0844 848 2700. Sales begin at 10.00am on Wednesday 29th January, 2020.
