Festival of Brewers is the brainchild of Mike Hampshire of Mike’s Tap Room, and is a brewers’ market style event showcasing eight small independent breweries.
In Strictly Come Dancing style the names of the participating breweries have been announced in stages, two per day, over the past week. We now know the full set which are; Frisky Bear Brewing Company, Half Moon Brewery, Horsforth Brewery, MVB (Mill Valley Brewery), Nomadic Beers, Penistone Brewers, The Cider Cask and Truth Hurts Brew Co.
Don’t worry, there is also food on offer in the form of Gerhard’s Pretzels and The Pizza Trail.
The event is being held at New Craven Hall, Unit 2 Fairfield House, New Craven Gate, Leeds LS11 5NF which is at the Leeds end of Dewsbury Road next door to Eiger Studios. I am sure that you will not have as much trouble in finding it as in finding your way home after having sampled that lot.
The date for your diary is Saturday, 23rd November, 2019 and there are two sessions, the first from 11am-4.30pm and the second from 5.00pm-10.30pm. Tickets are £7 plus £1 handling fee and includes entry and a glass.
Enjoy the event and you don’t need me to tell you to drink responsibly.
